Falcosta

Falco was established on 15 September 1951. The founder, F. Friesacher, the grandfather of the present owner, began by manufacturing "transport equipment", such as wheelbaroows for stone and concrete, and gravel and tar carts. In the middle of the 50's bicycle racks and sheds were added and the business then followed an ongoing strategy of development which has resulted the core of Falco's present activities: a complete range of outdoor furniture for buildings, streets, parks, and urban environments. From the early developments the business grew substantially. The first enquiries and orders were also received from overseas resulting in the establishment of sales offices in Europe the first being Falco GmbH in Germany and subsequently the appointment of representatives throughout the rest of Europe. The 35,600 m2 manufacturing and business complex at the head office is being continually developed and now contains the most advanced production and storage facilities. The production range now extends to around 20,000 products. 

Falco manufactures high quality cycle parking systems and street furniture. Falco shelters, canopies and stores can be used for every application; cycle shelters, smoking shelters, bus stops, parent waiting shelters, teen shelters, bin stores and sports dug-outs. Being design led, the Falco systems exert both style and form coupled with high functionality, enabling them to blend with all urban landscapes including towns, schools and parks. The modular nature of Falco street furniture, cycle parking and shelters and canopy systems enables them to fit into most schemes and environments. All Falco products are both robust and vandal resistant with integral drainage systems.
